Description

A beautiful and rare RHD 1966 Lotus Elan S3 Coupe - British Racing Green/Silver Stripes/Black Interior. I have spent over 300 hours making this as nice as I can but keeping the 1966 patina. The look and feel is 1966. This car has only been driven 300 miles in the last 12 months.

The not so good:
Paint is really nice from 10' - last painter (before I bought it) was not so hot. Body has some patches and a few cracks (as is norm with 1966 fiberglass). The paint shines and looks good but doors have lots of orange peel - I give it a 7 out of 10. Front end shows some results of an average repair if you look closely in the air inlet. The windscreen is delaminating on both lower corners and is pitted from 50 years of use. A new windscreen is $250 from UK landed in LA. The Dash looks nice but has developed hairline cracks at stress spots due to dry LA climate. Very serviceable but to change a new Dash is $450 on ebay. The car is sold as is - so I would suggest you look at it or send someone to check it out.
